Our MissionWestern Mass Homeschoolers (WMH) is an organization that exists primarily to encourage and support homeschool families.  Our objectives fall within four broad categories:
  • Provide a forum for families to meet and share ideas and talents with/for each other.
  • To share the Word of God as the highest form of instruction and encouragement.
  • To establish a network to effectively communicate timely legislative issues or other pertinent homeschool information.
  • To provide workshops and a clearinghouse of information and resources to assist homeschoolers in educating their children.
To meet most of these objectives: we host support group meetings, a weekly e-newsletter, known as News and Notes. Various volunteers organize field trips and yearly events such as a history fair, science fair, fine arts night, drama class presentations, a Gavel Club (junior Toastmasters), and more.  Our website provides a plethora of information and resources valuable to homeschoolers subscribers.
WMH is privileged to serve over 200 families located throughout the Pioneer Valley and extending into Connecticut.  We are unashamedly a Christian group, but we are not exclusive in our membership.  Our overriding goal is to serve God by serving homeschool families.
